@velvetcastle: Today’s Fall 2025 Haute Couture show by #schiaparelli featured a mechanical beating heart dress, instantly reminding me of Salvador Dalí’s Royal Heart from 1953, a surrealist jewel with a pulsating centre. It’s crazy to me how big designers steal small designers ideas. This heart was introduced by a New Mexican designer called “Grecia Soto” she has a degree in biomedical engineering and she is a well known designer all over Mexico. There’s a big controversy going on because she created this last year and now since Schiaparelli introduced it they taking credit for it 🙃
