I don’t see many solos or picking beyond the 17th or 18th fret anyways. I can’t even hear the tone beyond the 20th fret on the high E string so I wouldn’t be playing there anyway.

I figured out that I really didn’t need the last 3 frets on Les Paul’s and traded most of my Jackson, Charvels, Schecters and ESP/LTD’s for mostly Les Pauls..down to one super strat with a Floyd on it now…after having nothing but for 40+ years
