Nurse here, that’s pitting edema which is an indicator of continuous fluid imbalance, often can be from kidney disease or heart failure. See your doctor please.

I was a dialysis tech for several years. You’re retaining fluid which we often see in kidney failure patients. Go see your primary who will refer you to a specialist.

i’d definitely go in hun. not to scare you but in patients i’ve only seen edema this bad in patients with severe heart or kidney disease/failure.

my dad has neuropathy from his t1 diabetes and he has that issue. it could be that, excessive water in your leg from kidney issues... go to the hospital!

Don’t freak out— it could also be hereditary lymphedema, which isn’t as scary as heart or kidney failure. Doctor as soon as you can, definitely, but take a deep breath.
