Great video thank you for sharing. I’m curious what you think about my take that resumes and interviews are a bad proxy for job skills. For example, I’ve got diverse, exceptional experience and am very good at framing; I’m pleasant and an exceptional interviewer; and could probably interview for many positions that I would be bad at. I’ve hired mostly after getting to know people so I can experience their work indirectly but we don’t always have that luxury, and I don’t necessarily think trials (even paid) are very fair. What’s a good way to ensure you don’t hire the best interviewer over the best fit? Or would you say this hasn’t been as much of a problem for your company as it’s been for me?
