Do the grade rule for curfew for your teen! 9th grade - 9pm, 10th - 10pm etc…. If they follow the curfew they can “pass” to the new one in the new school year. If they can’t respect it they “fail” the grade and stay at the previous curfew

All my teens 13-15 have a curfew of 11. My teens 16-17 have a curfew of 12. If you can't keep your grades up... it rolls back an hour for every D or F. My kid with the lowest grades has a C. Everyone likes their free time. If you misheave while out... you don't go out for a while and curfew is rolled back based on how egregious the offense is.

My curfew was always the time according to my grade. I LOVED IT. especially as I got older. There was no confusion on the expectations of my parents. The older I got the more responsible, respectful, and reasonable my choice became. It gave my parent peace of mind too. I will be doing it with my kids as well.
