these people in the comments need to realize that when Egypt was formed there was lower Egypt(modern day Egypt,North africans) and upper Egypt(Sudan,south Sudan). so saying ancient Egyptians were black is literally just not a false statement but rather part of a whole truth. it's almost unanimously agreed upon that the oldest ancient Egyptians melanin levels fluctuated but still generally were closer to white than black, having African ethnic features.
