@cakepicnictour: Instagram Repost from @susscakestudio As soon as I heard about @cakepicnictour I knew I didn’t want to miss out! 🍰 It was the first time @cakepicnictour came to London and I knew I wanted to make something to celebrate the British summertime 🥳 A @wimbledon themed cake is what I went with 🎾 I made a 3 layer pistachio cake sandwiched between strawberry buttercream and then topped off with a mascarpone icing 😋 And lots of pistachios for the “tennis court”. I wasn’t perfectly happy with my cake and I’d definitely do it differently next time but it worked 🎾 To attend @cakepicnictour , you need to take a cake. No cake, no entry!😆 You’re then given a box and 5 min to fill your box with as many cake slices as you want 🤩 Now I don’t think I went too crazy 😅 Afterall, how much cake can one person eat 😅🤷🏻♀️ And then at the end, we were asked to take even more cake 😅 They didn’t want us to leave any behind! I brought it back for Sienna, Kayla and Moni and they loved it as you can see 💗 I had the best morning and it was so lovely to meet @christiaan.de.vries christiaan.de.vries @susscakestudio @al.chenny @bakedbybenji @pastrybymay @gizemcooks 💗 And we got to celebrate Cake Picnic’s founder @saltedrye birthday too! What a way to spend a birthday surrounded with cakes 🙌🥳💗 Such a great morning at Greenwich park surrounded with cake and lovely people 💗🍰
