@kimgargano_: Anna the Prophetess — In Luke 2 were introduced to Anna: a widow that spent day and night praying and fasting in the temple for 84 years. She lost her husband (presumably around age 21 if she was married at 14) and rather then let her sadness and grief consume her, she listened to the voice of God and spent her life worshipping Him. And she got to see Messiah Jesus with her own eyes before she died. Luke 2 says that she told everybody she could that the Messiah was indeed here! All her life she prayed for the redemption of Jerusalem and for the Savior to come… and she saw Him and rejoiced. Let be this a lesson that you don’t need to let your marital status or kid status to define your identity or worth in Christ. You have purpose and value because you’re a child of God.
