I just retired early! Been sleeping in, staying up late watching tv, laying in the pool… whatever I want whenever I want. You literally called out how I spend most of my days! It’s so wonderful!

As a teacher, I get to "retire" for a couple of months every Summer. The problem is that I either run out of things to do or money to do them with within 6 weeks. Then, I'm just sitting around aging with no purpose.

I can’t do it, I stopped going to my office in January phasing myself out. Moved to the Gulfcoast and started doing “what I want”, I have decided to start going back in on Monday. I need to feel useful, to have a purpose, my mind is going crazy not being used.

Nah. I’ve been retired four years and it’s been a hard adjustment. I really enjoyed my job and the people I worked with, but I’m grateful I did get to retire. Get a dog that makes it much better. Plus it takes money to retire early many don’t have it. I had a good union job, so I’m good.
