I had a kid with a long name, the first week he told me he preferred the name Krusty. I called him that. I've often had kids who didn't like their birth name. none were trans. I called them whatever the hell they wanted to be called.

I, too, as a hs history teacher have been called some of these things. It's always someone claiming to be Christian and they think that I want their children indoctrinated. Excuse me? I am literally teaching American history.
