There’s always this lingering sadness that sits quietly, deep in my soul, aching without an end. I could be having the time of my life—laughing, socializing—it’s there. At times it’s low, just a soft weight I carry, barely noticeable. But when I’m less fortunate, it towers above, swelling and crashing over me again and again, carrying the ache higher until the “why’s” and “what ifs” start creeping in. The life within drains, my thoughts storm, and darkness seeps in, stretching into every thought and movement. Is this good? Should I continue or stop and get on with the next paragraphs?

As a little girl I laid out each and every one of my stuffed animals on my small bed making sure each got love from me and space on the bed, made sure to give each names I would say goodnight to them And had a rotation on which ones I cuddled for each night, this made me always put peoples feelings infront of mine which led to bad trauma like sa from the person I trusted most I learned that being compassionate also includes myself and being kind and empathetic doesn’t require sacrificing my own feelings and well being is this a good college essay topic?
