They are “fully grown” at around 15-20 years but some never stop growing just the rate of growth is that slow you don’t really notice it

I have a herman called Terry who is around 5, he’s around the same size as turtle, he was showing signs of hibernation last year so we took him to the vet who said he was to small to hibernate 🤨 how do I know when to start hibernation?
