@the_masked_vet: This patient presented to the animal hospital unable to fully close his mouth, drooling excessively, and having difficulty eating. On examination, a piece of plastic was visibly lodged on a lower molar. Using a hemastat, the object was removed and the patient only had some mild gum irritation. The plastic piece was from a drawer runner that was being put together at the owner’s house. This cat is very lucky- if swallowed it could have caused gastrointestinal obstruction. #cat #veterinarian #veterinarymedicine #veterinary #medicine #catsoftiktok
