@wilsonaesthetic_: Ya’ll the years it took for me to finally love my natural hair 😭😭😭I never felt pretty with my curly hair growing up and was made to feel if my hair wasn’t pin straight I was not “presentable” I can’t wait to shower my future daughters with love and admiration and surround them with a community that uplifts them and their natural features. My mom always did that for me but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to drown out the noise from other family members and Dominican social norms 😞
