I'm taking progesterone and testosterone. I'm sleeping well but feel like garbage overall. My brain fog is severe some days. I've asked for estrogen by my doctor says I don't need it because I have a regular period and my FSH level is very low.

Started with progesterone then added estrogen patch felt amazing with the start of progesterone and then did patch and omg the rage and anxiety was worse then ever! I’m no scarred to do the patch again. Also what is a ok dose of progesterone when still have uterus. Recommend how to bring it up at next appointment Aug.

Progesterone made me have terrible dreams, sadness and hair issues still have sleep issues. I tired estriol topical bhrt which helps a lot with joints, even though it says it’s for just skin. So do I need progesterone? Is there another option than the pills?

Can you talk about what you should do if you no longer have a uterus but you are suffering with anxiety and panic. Do you still only take estrogen ? Will the estrogen help with anxiety or is that only progesterone that will help?

I don’t have my uterus, but still have my ovaries. I take progesterone and low dose testosterone, and because my bloodwork shows I’m spiraling toward menopause, I may soon be starting estrogen. Are these things I can take long term, or am I limited to a 10-12 year period? I’ve read you shouldn’t continue post menopause, but I never know what to truly believe.

The OB I met with said not to take it alone because it’s only to protect the uterus while on estrogen. Im learning this isn’t true

I’m 40 and perimenopause has hit! I had a hysterectomy in 2017. I just started Prometrium only do to horrible symptoms. I went down to 100 mg due to mild side effects. Hoping it helps!
