Here’s my take: They say there are plenty of fish in the sea, an endless expanse of shimmering scales and darting fins, each unique in its own way. But what do you do when your heart has already chosen one? When the depths of your soul yearn for that particular fish, the one with the iridescent scales that catch the sunlight just so, the one whose movements echo the rhythm of your own heart? It's a cruel paradox, this vast ocean of possibilities, when all you desire is the familiar comfort of that single, specific creature. Every other fish you encounter is just a reminder of what you're missing, a pale imitation of the one that swims eternally in the waters of your mind. The sea may be full, but your heart is achingly empty, longing for the one that got away, or perhaps, was never truly yours to begin with.
