Going to Kroger when I usually shop at a Publix was such an odd experience. Like chill, it’s your crummy old machine I’m not trying to steal an $0.89 can of coke. Also if you have 6 employees hovering over the self checkout you may as well do it for me…

Not only do they hover over you, they glare at the handheld device they have that shows everything you scan just to make sure. All while the have 0 open checkout isles open.

I feel like it’s worse at Lowe’s. Those cashiers get right up on the screen over your shoulder to see what all has been scanned. Atleast at Walmart they stay in the middles having social hour and leave me alone

I was in Denham Springs Louisiana yesterday at Walmart. A lady did not scan any of her items. She put them directly into plastic bags then into her cart she was not challenged at the door for her receipt. I saw her in the parking lot, putting them in her vehicle yes I did report it to two of the Walmart employees they said “oh well” .
