Getting our Onitsuka Tiger in Ginza was a mistake. Get it in Shibuya or Shinjuku or if you’re going to Kyoto or Osaka get it there a lot more selections.

I believe they just passed a law where next year they will do away with duty free prices, and there will be a foreigner tax whether you’re living there are just visiting. So if youre going next year just plan to bring more money.

1. Pay for an extra luggage in advance and buy one at Donki, it’ll be needed and it will save you a ton of money. 2. If you can, go to one more city other than Tokyo, the change of pace will be needed, trust me. 3. Charge that IC card before even going. Put like 30$ there monthly and you’ll be all set once you’re there. 4. Be on time for your Shinkansen 🚄 especially if you’re taking it from Shinjuku station(I think that’s the accurate station). That is a whole maze in itself💀 5. Be prepared for the anguish that comes with having to leave💔.

Onitsuka has stores all over Tokyo that aren’t crowded at all. Which is nice! I was at the ginza store the other day and there were maybe like 20 people inside.

The tigers store in Osaka is way easier to get in and out of! But no personalization. Just depends on what you’re looking for!

The hole in the wall places are my highlights so far. Found a jazz club in Narita the first night and they had a local band. It was me my brother and 2 locals. So chill and the food was superb.
