Allergy season is one of the worst we’ve seen in years. If allergies have you feeling less than your best, here are 5 simple things you can do to ease the misery: 🌿 Wear a hat and sunglasses when you go outside. A hat helps keep pollen from settling in your hair, and sunglasses protect your eyes from allergens in the air. If you forgot the hat, try using a cool blow dryer to help remove some of the pollen. 🚿 Shower at night instead of in the morning. This helps wash away pollen that’s built up on your skin and hair throughout the day, so you’re not sleeping in it all night long. 👃 Swipe a little olive oil inside your nose. It can help create a barrier to trap allergens before they irritate your nasal passages. 💧 Use a nasal rinse at least once a day. Just be sure to use distilled water only. 👁️ Put allergy eye drops in before bed. This gives them time to work overnight, so you wake up with less irritation and itchiness. Allergy season can be brutal, but hopefully these little tricks help you breathe a little easier. 🌼
A Japanese saying suggests something beautiful: If you missed the bus, maybe you avoided the accident. If you got rejected, maybe you were being redirected. If they left, maybe they made room for someone better. If the opportunity disappeared, maybe it wasn’t meant to carry you where you’re supposed to go. The truth is, we often judge events too quickly. We call them failures. Rejections. Bad luck. Disappointments. But life has a strange way of revealing the purpose behind certain moments much later. Sometimes the job you didn’t get leads you to a better one. Sometimes the relationship that ended saves you from years of pain. Sometimes the delay, the setback, or the closed door is actually protection in disguise. Not everything that feels bad is bad for you. And not everything that feels good is meant for you. So the next time life doesn’t go according to plan, remember this: You can trust your effort without understanding every outcome. Because some blessings arrive through open doors. And others arrive through closed ones. #LifeLessons #Wisdom #Growth #Mindset #realtalk
