Hi, I just celebrated my grandpas first birthday alone that we always celebrated together because our birthdays were close(aug 15 & 19). I practically grew up at their house. He got to meet my son a week before he passed. We both were severely sick the day he passed and I think that was his way of us not wanting to see it but I still feel so guilty and think about him every single day. I’m so sorry, hugs to you.

exactly this. i lost mine who basically raised me this past june on the 17th, and people dont understand how badly i want to talk about him. not in a depressing way, but in a way in which i wanna share all that we did together and reminisce on everything we had.

i lost mine 2 years ago and the grief got to me while i was singing karaoke surrounded by my best friends. grief isn’t linear it’s like glitter, it’ll find you at random points but i promise it gets easier all love to you queen 💞

It’s almost been 3 years since my grandpa who raised me too passed. It will get easier, but don’t try and forget him like I did. Remember you are so lucky to have someone who you loved so much that you’ll spend the rest of your life grieving them ❤
