For the people that wonder why people get shot when they won’t show their hands, this is exactly why. If you wait til they show you what’s in their hands, it may be too late. This Officer is lucky he survived, and did well after being shot at. I’ve had a couple co-workers who weren’t so lucky. Priorities of life=hostages, innocent people, law enforcement, suspects. Never put the suspects safety before your own.
