His final round times (ranging from 3.80 to 5.45 seconds) secured his win over runner-up Xuanyi Geng, age 7. Wang is now the youngest 3×3 world champion in WCA history and the first to win with an average under 4.3 seconds, smashing the previous record of 5.09.
