ball pythons are NOT good beginning pets, they are just the most readily available. Kingsnakes are a much better option

When I was 13 I got a bearded dragon he’s so easy I figured why not get another lizard a few months later 😂 I got a TOKAY GECKO thing started barking at me before we even left the expo😭🤣

guys, I want a Chameleon so bad. I look up videos all the time, and still find little information on them. tiktok has actually been pretty helpful. I've never owned a reptile before, I've cared for them, but never owned. is it still a bad idea to start with a chameleon as a first time reptile owner?

I adopted a chameleon at petsmart because no one was buying her and she was stuck in such a small enclosure. (I don’t support petsmart for selling animals btw. I just happened to get her cause she was basically free… :( I knew nothing about chameleons but I kept doing research and changing her enclosure SEVERAL times to suit her needs. I’m still considering on getting her a bigger mesh enclosure because I felt so bad. Chameleons SHOULD NEVER be sold at petsmart… they require a lot of care. Not to mention they are extremely misunderstood reptiles. My point is- even though I knew nothing abt her species I still brought her home and did my research to improve her life. And ever since I’m been obsessed with chameleons they are amazing reptiles 😔❤️
