What the cop meant by unfortunate is that the filmer isn’t there to educate people about the 1A, it’s to bait people into reacting and hopefully get a “gotcha” moment. He’s not wrong, it’s perfectly legal…but at least be honest about what is happening.

why don't the cops ask the caller is he on the sidewalk? has he touched anyone ? ok well he's not doing anything illegal so we're not wasting our time to come out there !!! that would solve all these issues but they think they will come out and intimidate someone or try to find something to arrest them for
