Been here for almost 60 years. This is not a place for a faint of heart. If you do not like extreme heat when some of the coldest temperatures in the world. You don’t wanna be here. But if you want to be in a place where people are honest genuine, and will always have your back and a good place to raise your family, this is where you wanna be. It is Home. And I’m proud to call it home

The Texas panhandle raises massive amounts of food to help feed the world. And they do it on only 20 inches of rain per year.

The wind blows and the sandstorms are awful. There’s not many trees or bodies of water either. A very inhospitable environment for sure, but the people are what makes the panhandle great. They show up ready to help just when you need it most. Sun rise and sun set are the most beautiful parts of the day. They are both spectacular because you have an unimpeded view. I’ve finally decided after 55 years that I love it here.

Lived in the Panhandle for most of my life. There’s lakes and creeks, canyons and state parks. It’s beautiful and has the best sunsets/sunrises. I’ve lived many places and traveled the world, while harsh the Panhandle is one of the greatest places
