@p.p.p.p.poullo: "Papillon" (2017) is a biographical crime drama about Henri Charrière, nicknamed Papillon, a French safecracker wrongly convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in the notorious Devil's Island penal colony. The film follows his attempts to escape with the help of fellow convict Louis Dega, a counterfeiter who finances his plans. It's based on Charrière's autobiographies and the 1973 film adaptation.
