@jeana.aragon: If we could all just adopt the kind of enthusiasm my 79-year old mom has shown toward exercising… 🥹💗💓 … She has arthritis in her hands and knees, and has had issues pop up with irregular blood pressure, but she knows how these two bouts of weight training workouts a week have been helping her, and she loves the effect it has on her body, mind, and mood! If she could, she would do more and do it more often, but we keep doing what we can. As she is getting older, she needs longer breaks in between sets and on some days, she walks to my house and just does a warm-up type of workout and we chat and have a meal. The awesome thing is, she is really enjoying her workouts and loves to try to improve! And she IS maintaining her strength as well as getting stronger, which is absolutely incredible. Hello! My mom has same health problems and her doctors advise against strenght training, saying that her bones are too weak now. But I keep seeing videos of ladies doing great in the gym. I'm starting to wonder, if that's really the best way to go about it. Could you please tell me, if your mom was advised against working out at this age?
