Robinson is well past his prime here and nearly lost even against a half blind Basilio. But Carmen was underrated and one tough little dynamo.

Saw this fight on TV in '58. Nearly 31, Basilio was one of the roughest fighters of that time, but bled easily. Robinson, nearly 37, had been the best fighter of his era. With one eye, bleeding and closed, Basilio fought gallantly, but Robinson prevailed!!!👏😎👏

Anyone saying so and so would beat him just know that most of the footage you see was after his prime. He is P4P greatest of all time and the catalyst of the evolution of boxing we know and love today.
