On the cheapest days AMC ticket is $15. You will easily pay over $20 for popcorn and a drink. On the rest of the week it’s $29. At Ultrastar I can go on Thursday and pay $9 for a ticket and get 50% off popcorn. The rest of the week I can get a ticket for $16. It’s so much more reasonable and with how expensive it is for families to do anything in San Diego this spot really makes it possible to enjoy the movies without breaking the bank.

Grossmont Center in La Mesa is similar the tickets are cheap and they have deals and older seats but they have great vibes lol

it’s definitely not fancy but such a great deal & they have seats that move with action sequences 😳 recently saw F1 in one of those & it was fun
