We go almost every weekend as a local. Love visiting the restaurants. We treat it as a lavish lounge. We know our spots and their happy hours so we go and just post up for a couple hours.

San Antonio Arena Football Fan :
I have access to free parking so I visit more than other locals. I think free parking is a must to get people down there. Most of the restaurants cater to tourists, would need more independently owned restaurants or local chains

I used to work in an office building along the river walk. it was the best to take a break and go walk down there

I avoid it like the plague. Overpriced everything. Boring couple of blocks asking for my money. Parking too expensive. I’ll just pass. We go to ATX for recreation.
