It’s because we are a curvy bunch lol - think it depends where the waist band if the jeans is suppose to be In The design - my high rises her 6 but anything low hip line are 8s 🤨

It's because of the way the pieces are cut. Picture 50 layers of fabric stacked up and someone cutting round a template on top. If the blade is anything other than perfectly vertical then the size of each piece will vary. The pieces at the top wind up the right size but the ones below can be much smaller or bigger. It's infuriating, but that's fast fashion plus human error.

So true! I just bought two pairs of jeans both the same size from the same maker. One pair fits the other doesn't 😂

I was working retail a couple of months back and this lady had tried on 3 of the extra same pair of jeans in the exact same size and they all fit her different. its insane

I work at a boutique and I’ve had so many people refuse to try the next size up when something was small on them.. I’ve tried to explain so many times SIZE MEANS NOTHING
