I'm Afro-Trinidadian. While we may drop off the Afro/African part, all West Indians know and retain our roots. Even the term West Indian was given to us by the same ppl that call you African American. But it's a Black People problem even in Africa why they won't form a United Countries of Africa. And why we making it seem like connecting with Africa is bad? Oh yeah, "Dem People" want us separated and fighting each other to continue their perpetual rule.... But y'all keep on smdh
