@pinknews: Two rescue cats with a seriously strong sapphic bond were reunited at a Seattle cat cafe just in time for ‘Purr-ide’ month after being separated. Leah Penney, manager of @neko.cat.cafe in Seattle, collected a group of cats from the Regional Animal Services of King County. One of them, Cait, came with paperwork that read: “I came in with a gal pal and our kittens”, plus a photo of her snuggled up with a black cat. The team quickly realised they were dealing with a separated queer power couple. While Cait went to a foster home to settle in, staff discovered that her mystery companion was up for adoption at a nearby Petco .They acted fast and brought the duo back together in the name of love.Named Cait and Vi as a nod to Arcane, the pair were instantly glued together. Speaking about their reunion, staff said: “It was like they couldn’t get close enough to each other! They fell into the sweet fuzzy puddle of purrs and constant face-licking that they’ve been in ever since. It was magic." The cafe shared their story as part of their Pride Month celebrations, and the internet fell in love.“Their bond is sweeter than we could’ve ever imagined,” the team at NEKO cafe said #rescuecats #catcafe #lesbiansoftiktok #seattle #pridemonth #lgbtqia
