Think about it, 12volts is the voltage for a normal vehicle to start, that is a 18 volt rechargeable battery, should be adequate

Y'all. Electrical engineer working in fire protection. It may work, and it may even be fine most of the time. But when a lithium battery fails, it's a very, very bad time. If it doesn't explode outright, you're looking at flaming jets and toxic gas release. When they catch fire the only solution is to let them burn until they're done. So if you're gonna do this, just be aware that you're taking a risk.
