@iwcwatches: This Big Pilot’s Watch (Ref. IW500401) is over a decade old, and was last serviced six years ago. Over time, the watch has developed visible scratches on the case and clasp, and several wearing parts show signs of use and require replacement. The watch has been sent to Schaffhausen for a full service. IWC Goldsmith, Luka Gjon, uses precision laser welding to fill notches and dents on the case, before meticulously restoring its original contours and flawless finish at the goldsmith machine.
