$1k for an extraction? Your dentist is over charging. I just went through the same thing and ended up paying $400 for an extraction and that was with sedation.

$1k for an extraction and $9k for an implant are both almost twice as expensive as most dental offices near me… I’m in MA. I think you should consider another office

i’ve had ✨2✨ root canal’s fail and at this point if I hear I need one more root canal I’ll just get it taken out. I’m not paying another $2k (with insurance) for the thing to fail later on. 😭

Facts! Even with my insurance I paid over $7k for a single dental implant, which also took almost a year start to finish. Then they denied covering my regular cleaning because I’ve used all of much of my benefits 🙄

I’m in the middle of an implant and it’s gonna cost me $7K after insurance. Unfortunately for me it’s a front tooth so I’m making it work because I personally can’t have a missing front tooth.

I have a back tooth that was removed and they straight up told me the implant wouldn’t be covered by insurance. They’ll cover bridges but not implants. Like I don’t understand… it’s medically necessary to avoid complications of missing a TOOTH

Have had a temporary on 5 years cause I can't pay 3200$ out of pocket for extraction. so I just dont chew on that side. I'll never be able to save up cause everything else is too expensive

dental prices are why I am 30 years old dealing with regular jaw pain and migraines because my wisdom teeth werent removed when I was a kid.. they move and cause issues but I just can't afford to have them taken out 🤷♀️
