Definitely wrong ..new car windshields are very expensive now days with gadgets and calibration cost will definitely rais your insurance premium in long term ..insurance will not pay free money to no one

That’s actually not the case anymore. With all these companies giving cash backs the insurance is actually dropping coverage n raising premiums.

I made a claim for a small chip because everyone assured me it wouldn’t affect my insurance history. At first, it didn’t—but a few years later, every time I switched providers, I kept being told that the chip claim was still on record. It took nearly 10 years to finally have it removed.
