i had this happen to me too along with a bunch of tears on my corneas!!! turned out it was from tubing mascara getting in my eyes for the past 2-3 years and wearing contacts daily for 10+ years i was freaking out too

My mom had this when she was in her twenties. She does not have any underlying disease and she has not had any issues. She’s over 54 now and she’s just fine! Just do the labs and listen to what they tell you but I think you’re going to be okay!

Do you have myopia (can’t see far away)? This can be normal in patients who have a longer eye than normal bc as your eye grows it pulls on the retina.

Your doctor didn't want to follow up,it sounds like a retinal hemorrhage.Yes underlying conditions can cause this such as high blood pressure, diabetes etc.If the dots are very small they may heal on their own,but need to closely monitored to make sure it is healing.The main thing is to find out if a underlying condition is causing it.It most always happens in only one eye and if your vision changes notify your doctor promptly. Hoping you the best.

I used to work for Retinal Specialist for 5 years. I suggest going to one of them since there is not much more an Optometrists can do since they focus on the front of the eye besides taking an OCT or Optos photo. They have great retinal specialists in the Florida area if you need any recommendations!

I suggest you follow up with a retina specialist. It could be retina issues possibly caused by in underlining issues like diabetes. I have had retina issues for about 30 years. Good luck

My mom has those blood vessels behind her eyes, and she has really severe sleep apnea

I actually been going back and forth to doctors lately due to loosing vision in one eye! Not the same thing you have, but it was scary for sure 😳 for me it turned out to be migraine aura and I don’t have headaches! 😅
