My mom and step dad have been happily married for 25yrs and they have separate rooms! My step dad is an army vet with sleep apnea and insomnia, he likes to play video games and blast the tv. my mom is a very light sleeper and sleeps in the quiet with my 16yr old dog (my dog won’t sleep with anyone else lol) so she needs the space on her bed. They sleep at different times too. Space is very healthy! I will be doing this with my husband in the future! 🥰

Married 15 years-hubby is an ARMY vet that needs TV blaring in order for him to fall asleep…I’m a pre-K teacher who needs soft, rain sounds. We “get busy” then go to our separate chambers to get real sleep
