minha teoria é que ele foi criado no laboratório,ele era uma criança e fizeram uma experiência nele junto com um cervo,assim ele virando humanoide,ele ainda tem a mente infantil,mas os cultistas modificaram o cérebro dele para ele atacar os adultos,no final ele só achava que estava protegendo as criancas

tengo una teoría, el ciervo en realidad nunca fue malo sólo que tenía miedo, el tenía a los 4 niños encerrados ya que los estaba cuidando pero al no poder comunicarse de una buena manera los niños le temían, tal vez el ciervo estaba protegiendolos de algo, tal vez los protegía del laboratorio escondido en el bosque porque por los científicos el se volvió asi, cuando nos vio en el bosque se asusto porque pensó que éramos de los científicos y que íbamos a atacar a los niños así que trató de hacer lo posible para que nos fuéramos y no llevarnos a los niños pero luego cuando al final del juego ya tenemos a los 4 niños el se siente reemplazado y ve que en realidad íbamos a cuidarlos así que deja a los niños y vuelve a su jaula por que ya no va a cuidar más a los niños

fun fact: the deer is actually the 5th missing child and the police doesn't know it's another missing child, it misses you, he gets scared when u get close, he doesn't like veggies, he got turned into a wendigo by a cultist wizard, In the sewer are body's of other humans he ate that went close to him, he just wants you to act friendly like waving and smiling so that makes him happy. that's all that's my explanation
