Whenever I’ve experienced it, I immediately think that this is so uncomfortable. And then they always look at their friend and do this weird look and sometimes laugh and it feels like you’re their inside joke when all you did was say hi.

I'm convinced it's because Gen z never had to answer the phone at home or call people or go do anything in person bc apps and texting removed these interactions. now they are adults and their parents aren't there to order for them etc. no social skills.
