@Nathan Schwartz: Terry v. Ohio was a 1967 case, not 1965. Also, It jdoesn’t have anything to do with identification. It had to do with pat down searches and articulated the principle that an officer must have readable articulable suspicion, he or she can initiate a pat down search for weapons in the interest of officer safety.
