Could you speak to and explain why for some people, like myself, the stitches never absorb? The few times I have had them, 4-6 YEARS later the end up coming up above the skin. I end up have to pull them out myself.

You did not explain well. This is a subcuticular suturing method, which is rarely done in an interrupted fashion. The stitch is passed through the dermal-epidermal junction, not in the dermis.

I had that in my feet, after a few months i started feeling pain, popped a spot and a knotted part hadn't dissolved so I had to get the tweezers to grab it out 😂.
