@littlestepsmatter.bali: Miss Penny's happily ever after ✨ Penny was dumped on a very busy main road. Here we found her unable to walk and trembling from pain and fear. With 5 years of age and a body weight of 2.6kg she was alarmingly emaciated. She had a skin infection, anemia and rotten teeth. Her left side temur was broken. In both back legs she suffered from grade 4 luxating patellas and her rib bones were deformed from laying on metal bars all her life. It was obvious to us that this poor little girl must have spent her entire life trapped in a cage. Her road to recovery was long, but with intensive care treatment, surgeries, nourishment and lot's of love, we were able to heal her body and her heart fully. Penny then chose her favorite person to be her only forever person. She found her mama and our team member Elika found her heart dog. And both created that one-of-a-kind relationship. Her story is yet again one we all share together. Many of you fell virtually in love with Penny as much as those who met her and loved her personally.
