As the mean child and oldest daughter….it took me loosing myself and seeing who helped me get back to me for me to stop rushing the process and enjoy the moments 🥺🫶🏾🥰

I don’t think you were “mean and selfish”. You were a child that hadn’t experienced life yet and hadn’t matured. It’s normal for a child or adolescent to want to be near their friends and where they felt comfort and normalcy. You probably wanted to be near them because living with your grandmother was a daily reminder that your mother was sick. I’m so glad you got to experience the love of your grandmother and family. That’s a blessing. You have a beautiful spirit and I’m sure she plays a major role in that. ❤️

my grandma made me go to church every Sunday growing up and I'm ever so thankful for that because now I'm on the path to giving my life to God through that same church, I miss her everyday 🥺❤️
