Thank you for talking about this. I was born and raised in Homewood Alabama still live in Homewood. My parents were in law-enforcement. I’m now in law-enforcement my dream department eventually to work for is Homewood PD and I’m just so thankful that someone’s talking about this situation and trying to provide context to what happened that day.

I feel like there needs to be a scientific study conducted and published on why so many people in a certain demographic cannot follow lawful commands by law-enforcement. And then let’s see how many of those turn into physical encounter or even an officer involved shooting. What is going on in their brains where they cannot comply and they refuse to comply? ChatGPT has info on this. I also have seen studies/data on it but it’s not widely published because critics call it racist.
