summary: when OP turned 17, her dad cut her word allowance down to 75. OP had her college interview that same week and her dad gave her 1000 words but OP kept starting and stopping during the interview while the lady looked at her like she was having a stroke. OP just left a note saying "no more words." and left. her friend (forgot his name) started helping OP speak properly. her dad found out and OP had to sit in the quiet room. Zoe got appendicitis and couldn't beg for help so OP called 911, getting Zoe medical help. when OPs dad found out, he started going on this rant about words and dying and stuff like that and Zoe just screamed at him about everything, the neighbors heard, called the cops, and OP dumped Zoe's bucket of token over her head and told them the entire story. the dad had to go to a psychiatric evaluation and OP got separated from her siblings. now she has difficulties talking on a normal daily basis.
