I work for a luxury custom home builder my tips are don’t spend a crazy amount on home automation just do a basic security system and speakers if you want and make sure your powder room is separated from the main living space for privacy

Please make sure the plugs in the walls are on the right side of where you think you will be plugging things in especially the staircase when you put things on the staircase that needs to be plugged in like Christmas stuff

You are so brave to be freshly newlyweds and building a house! I was not a newlywed but a newly wife to be and simply went through a $50K renovation and was almost divorced before married 😂😂

Building a house is a lot of fun, we built ours 25yrs ago. It does come with some stress and that should be expected, but keep your expectations realistic and you’ll be fine. Weather will slow process here & there. Once the shell is under roof the “big fast gains” you notice now will slow down as the interior just takes longer to complete. Cant wait to see it done. (New follower here)😎👍🏻
