It is great that he has recovered his ability to walk after the hip fracture. You are correct that for most people his age, that’s the end.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my dad last month. He was 91. Ed reminds me of him in looks and the fighting spirit. No one ever believed he was 91. He started really declining about 3 months before he passed. Bless you all

Dan Ii really appreciate the great work you are doing taking care of your dad God bless you. However, please, call in a pastor to pray for your dad in readiness for transition. It is important that he received Christ into his live, that would be the greatest thing you will do for him at this time. Please, please, bring him closer to Christ. God bless you as you do this for tha salvation of his soul. thank you

Does he still receive therapy? How much do you do with him daily? He needs to get out of the wheelchair and just use the walker. Get him a recliner where he can put his feet up. And you can still strap him in.

I understand what you're going through for I've gone through the same thing with my dad as I took care of him and then years later I help take care of my younger sister. they both had dementia but suffered through it completely different than the other. bless you for taking care of your dad as I know I had days of struggle

I think it’s because u look after him 24/7. You make him walk make him eat they wouldn’t do that at a facility, but most of all you show him love
