They weren’t aliens they were ancient beings that could shape shift and fly and other things people used to worship them they called them fairies or some called them gods they helped humanity build and cured them of diseases and other things they were beautiful beings they also had wings but then humanity betrayed them and locked them in a ancient tomb with magic or a ritual I forgot which one and the tomb is inside that forest that’s why they can’t leave the forest there skin started to change and decay and there wings broke off making them look like hideous monsters the forest also has a magical barrier over it and the lady with the white hair is one of them I forgot her story and stuff but in the end she gets out and gains her wings back and flies out into the world and she now protects the blond haired girl with the bird from a distance [Humanity always doing some 🤦♂️smh]
